Brief History
In 2005, the Benue State Environmental Sanitation Authority (BENSESA) was created by merging the health department of the Benue State Urban Development Board and the Benue State Environmental Protection Agency. This unified approach aimed to more effectively address environmental sanitation and public health issues in the state.
