It provides the data-driven insights and planning necessary for effective environmental sanitation management in Benue State.
Here’s a description of their key functions:
- Needs Assessment: The department conducts needs assessments to identify environmental sanitation challenges and prioritize areas for intervention.
- Data Management: They manage the agency’s environmental sanitation data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. This may involve developing and maintaining databases and information systems.
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS): The department may utilize GIS technology to map environmental sanitation data and analyze spatial patterns of environmental health risks.
