Pest and Vector Control (Fumigation)

 BENSESA’s Evacuation of Illegal Communal Waste Dump initiative focuses on identifying and removing unauthorized waste dumpsites throughout Benue State. This effort enhances community health by reducing environmental hazards and supports long-term sustainability by fostering cleaner, safer public spaces.

Key Objectives

  • Control pest and vector populations: Implement strategies to monitor and manage pest and vector populations, reducing their prevalence in communities to minimize their impact on public health and safety.
  • Prevent disease transmission: Establish measures aimed at interrupting the transmission pathways of diseases associated with pests and vectors, thereby safeguarding the health of the community and reducing the incidence of vector-borne illnesses.
  • Protect public health: Enhance public health initiatives by integrating pest management practices that contribute to a healthier environment, ensuring the well-being of community members and promoting overall quality of life.
  • Support environmental sustainability: Adopt environmentally friendly pest control methods that not only address pest issues but also conserve biodiversity and promote sustainable practices within the ecosystem.
